The special three-arm system of this unit (UBI 1 & 2) provides flexibility for inspection work to be completed under, adjacent to and above bridges. it is well suited to squeezing between trusses or accessing culverts, embankments or sound barriers. Additionally during set-up, operation and retrieval phases road traffic disruption is kept to a minimum.

This highly mobile unit (UBI 3) has a reach of 13 metres underneath a bridge and a downward access of 16 metres. It can easily reach over side walks with its extension, making it ideal for those hard to reach spots of a bridge. The basket is able to raise up an additional 2 metres allowing for perfect access to inspect bearings. Because this unit is so versatile it is perfect for steel truss bridges that need inspection.

This ‘bridgus-inspectus’ blends-in with it’s natural surroundings much like the ghekko does on the side of a Darwin stubby, or the bright pink shirt with sequins that Rodney wears on a Saturday in a Gold Coast cafe. Sometime later, someone would let Rodney know that pink simply isn’t his colour... As you can see, this beast is in full extension but be warned! Any sudden movements will frighten this specimen from its natural habitat and further into camel country. Well-oiled sandshoes and armpits are crucial in stealthily observing this beast.
